Majiang the Black Cat · Wooden Circus Magnets

A black Chinese domestic cat with a faint scar on her left ear, a mark left from a fight during her stray days.

She's a bit proud and rarely acts clingy, but the moment you bring out food, her true self is revealed. She's no hero, yet she quietly steps in front of the weaker ones. Along her adventures, she meets a group of friends who have also experienced life on the streets. Together, they start a small circus — not for fame, but to support themselves and help more homeless animals find a place to belong.

In this series, each member of the troupe gets an arched window of their own, like a little stage at the circus. Designed by Majiang's creator, an independent illustrator, and printed on beechwood.

Two designs

  • Green Majiang: Majiang in a jester's cap and ruffled collar, leaning over a green balcony framed by red velvet curtains, with playing cards, a wobbly stack of teacups and a tiny top-hatted friend.
  • Red A-Mie: A-Mie, a curly-horned little sheep in a magician's hat, peers out of a red window marked CIRCUS, with a small black cat balancing on a ball below, a rabbit popping out of a top hat, flying cards and a pocket watch.
